Just today, Nathanael and I appreciated the grass we saw and the little bits of green we see from the daffodils starting to pop up. Although there is still snow EVERYWHERE, we can see and end in sight. Our renovations have also lasted all winter long, and we are determined to move in in time to start a garden at our new house!
In the time since our last post, I have been to VA and NC with the kids, skied with our son, had sugar on snow for the first time in my life and prayed over and over for the town of Waterbury. We are participating jointly with The Children's Room for the first time at a Bouncy Book Building Bash. The GMBA has a large obstacle course that we are taking to Thatcher Brook Elementary school on Saturday next week.
Nathanael and Katie (I think) are learning so much at our Bible Study on Tues nights. If you've never checked out praisefactory.org, I would highly recommend looking at this curriculum. Basic Bible truths are presently clearly and Connie Dever includes familiar tunes with lyrics that relate to these Biblical truths.
Highlights of our last 2 months:

Praying you guys are able to finish up the house quickly and get your garden started. It was great to spend time with you guys when you were in Virginia. Thank you for making time for us. It meant a lot to all of us, but especially to Lauren.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, lots of love, and prayers,
Uncle Doug and Andrea
Glad you are in the house now! You all are greatly missed. I am praying for you all with all the mission teams coming! Wish Cooper and I were a little closer and we could come too!

Caroline
