We're the Conyers and we currently live in Youngsville, North Carolina.  We love Jesus and in seeking to serve Him with our lives, we will be moving very soon.  We decided to create this blog so that all our friends and family can keep up with us as we venture to Barre, Vermont (according to a recent gallup poll, the least religious state in the nation).  We will be working with Faith Community Church in Barre, Vermont being mentored into church planters.  After one year, our family will plant a church in a new community in Vermont.  We are grateful for the ways in which God has already blessed us!

We traveled to Vermont back in January to meet and interview with the church.  A week later, we began searching for jobs and a home in Vermont and started packing up.  Our home went on the market February 21st.  We started praying that the Lord would work everything out in His timing and that we would be faithful in trusting Him for that timing.  

Since that time God has provided a place for us to live in Vermont (sight unseen, but we are trusting!), a job for Allison as a home health nurse, and just yesterday, a buyer for our home.  Praise the Lord for His gifts!  We know that apart from Him, we can do nothing, so we give Him the praise for taking care of these details and preparing the way for us to serve Him in Vermont.  Please join us in praying for the people of Vermont as we pray that their hearts will be open to the gospel of Jesus Christ and that lives will be changed!
